Let The Water Run . . .

Episode 199 of the daily Toronto Real Estate Musing video blog. George O’Neill vlogs about leaving a water tap on when the outside temperature drops significantly, to try to prevent a frozen pipe from occurring. As long as there is a little drip, the pipes should not freeze.

This is funny. I had a condo in LaSalle that had the sink on an outside wall. Even though the condo was well heated whenever the temperature went to -30c or below it would freeze. Even using cold water and a slower drip helped. But someone help you if you forgot this. Happened to me twice. It was my neighbour, also a former SPAR person, who told me this trick.
