Episode 228 of the Toronto Real Estate Musing daily video blog.
George O’Neill believes the real test of a company’s culture comes not when a client wants to do business with that firm, but when the client wants to stop doing business with that firm. It is easy being nice when a client wants to do business, but the true colours of a brokerage and the owners comes out when a client wants to leave.
Mike Rai recently decided to occupy the commercial condo that George had listed, so Mike called George to request cancelling the listing. George met with Mike ASAP and made arrangements to cancel the listing. This is an example of putting our clients’ interests first!

Great post George,
I also believe there’s always an opportunity to do business with people if you treat them with respect and communicate well. We just broke up with our agent here in Montreal a few months ago, I found it curious that we never got a response or any questions from him asking us why we came to that decision.
