Introducing the new Real Estate Marketing Toronto

George O’Neill is the founder and organizer of a seminar meetup series known as RETechTO, or Real Estate Technology Toronto. Founded in July 2009, it has grown to become Toronto’s largest discussion group for real estate professionals. It’s about to get bigger.

RETechTO was conceived as a Toronto-based discussion group in the spirit of DemoCamps, WordCamps and Vancouver’s Real Estate Technology Meetup Groups.  We hold the meetups typically bimonthly on a Monday or Tuesday night, and it is completely free to join and participate.

We chat about how to use digital tools and social media marketing to better serve our clients.  We get an audience consisting of real estate agents and brokers, mortgage consultants, lawyers, investors, technology service providers and homeowners alike in a relaxed bar atmosphere.  We showcase the hottest real estate tech startups and apps, and learn from marketing experts on how to get the most out of Google, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and mobile.

I am pleased to announce we are  rebranding RETechTO to REMarkTO, as in Real Estate Marketing Toronto.

This was not an easy decision.  However, we felt the meetup is and alway has been less about the tool and more about the result. In other words, we talk about technology insomuch as it helps us achieve our goals in promoting our business, generating positive results and enhancing client satisfaction.

REMarkTO will continue to speak to technology such as mobile applications, web tools and social networks.  We invite you to join us in the conversation!
