OTTAWA — Home sales rose by a seasonally adjusted 2.6% in June from the previous month, a sign the housing market is on a “solid footing,” the Canadian Real Estate Association said Friday.
Sales activity remained stable in Toronto, with gains recorded in Victoria, Calgary and Montreal, as well as in the Ontario cities of Ottawa, London and Hamilton, CREA said.
